Wedding Services

As a Professional Wedding Officiant and Reverend, I instill an atmosphere of relaxation, humor, and honesty - including only what you want for your special day.

I bring a sense of maturity and versatility to all weddings, making it a warm and unique experience for you and your guests.

While I am based in Sacramento, I am more than happy to travel to wherever your wedding may be. (Within reason - usually within an hour drive).

I approach the ceremony from a secular/non-denominational authority, but I’m happy to include anything from any religious tradition if you have one.

As a Certified Chaplain, I can do most all sects of weddings, and I include your special details also.

If you’re going to do a Themed Wedding, make sure that I’m included and dressed up as a part of your theme.

Want to do a Unity Ceremony?

Reverend Lose has hundreds of Unity Ceremonies from which you can choose from.  I certainly draw upon my experience of public speaking and can easily help plan the look, sound and feel of your ceremony.

If a choreographed procession is what you want, great.

If you need assistance with music or reading selections, just say the word.

I perform specialized elegant weddings just for you.

From traditional, formal, and religious, to non-denominational and themed weddings.

I am unquestionably the best there is!

I am open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you have a wedding question that you just thought of, and it’s 2:30 in the morning, do not hesitate to contact me.

I will answer my phone 24/7!

And besides, you may forget your question by the time breakfast arrives.

Bible Glossary

Angelology: The Study Of Angels.
Annihilationism: The Christian theological belief that the wicked, after the Last Judgment, will be totally destroyed and their consciousness extinguished, rather than suffering eternal conscious torment in hell.

Anthropomorphism: Anthropomorphism Is The Attribution Of Human Characteristics, Emotions, And Behaviors To Animals Or Other Non-Human Things (Including Objects, Plants, And Supernatural Beings). Some Famous Examples Of Anthropomorphism Include Winnie The Pooh, The Little Engine That Could, And Simba From The Movie The Lion King.

Apocrypha: (Greek for “secret”), which are generally recognized by the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and a few other groups as scripture, but not by the Protestant church.

Apologetics: The simple Webster’s definition for apologetics are as follows: “a systematic argumentative discourse.” More specifically, Webster continues with: a branch of theology devoted to the defense of the divine origin and authority of Christianity.

Simply put, apologetics is a defense for the Christian faith.

Apostasy: Apostasy is essentially a falling away, withdrawal, or abandonment of Christianity.

Bibliology: The Study Of All The Bibles.

Christian Anthropology: The Study Of The Nature Of Humanity From A Christian/Biblical Perspective.

Christology: The Study Of The Life And Works Of The Person Jesus.

Connotations: Connotation Refers To A Meaning That Is Implied By A Word Apart From The Thing Which It Describes Explicitly. Words Carry Cultural And Emotional Associations Or Meanings, In Addition To Their Literal Meanings Or Denotations.

Demonology: The Study Of Evil And Demons.

Dispensationalism: Dispensationalism is a method of interpreting history that divides God’s work and purposes toward mankind into different periods of time. Usually, there are seven dispensations identified, although some theologians believe there are nine. Others count as few as three or as many as thirty-seven dispensations. Hereto, we will limit ourselves to the seven basic dispensations found in Scripture, which are:

The Dispensation Of Innocence (Genesis 1:28-30 And 2:15-17).

     The Dispensation Of Conscience?(Genesis 3:8–8:22).

The Dispensation Of Human Government?Genesis 8.

     The Dispensation Of Promise?(Genesis 12:1Exodus 19:25).

     The Dispensation Of Law?Exodus 19–23.

     The Dispensation Of Grace?(Luke 22:20).

The Dispensation Of The Millennial Kingdom?(Revelation 20:11-14).

Ecclesiology: The Theological Study Relating To The Nature And Mission Of The Church.

Eisegesis: The Study Of Self-Interpretation Of Biblical Information.

Eschatology: The Study And Interpretation Of Scriptures And Death Concerning The “End Time” And “Last Days”.

Exegesis:  The Study Of The True Meaning Of Text In The Bible.

Hadephobia: The fear of hell.

The Greek word "phobia" means fear, such as in arachnophobia (the fear of spiders), claustrophobia (the fear of enclosed spaces), and hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia (the fear of long words). The Greek word "hade" refers to hell or the underworld.

Therefore, hadephobia is the fear of hell.

The Bible describes hell as a place of eternal torment, fire, and separation from God (Mark 9:47–48Matthew 25:304146Revelation 14:10–1120:15). Hell is for those who do not repent and trust n Jesus (Romans 6:23).

However, through faith in Jesus’s death and resurrection, believers are forgiven and saved from eternal separation from God (Romans 8:31–39).

A relationship with God through Jesus removes the fear of hell, as believers are secure in His love and eternal life (John 3:16–18).

Hamartiologist: The Study Of Theology Dealing With The Doctrine Of Evil And Sin.

Hermeneutics: The Study Of Interpreting Text Of The Bible.

Paterology: The study of the church fathers, between the first and eighth centuries AD. Also, the study of historical theology concerned with the lives and teachings of the fathers of the Christian church, to include the collection of the writings of the church fathers.

Patrologist: The Study Of God The Father.

Pseudepigrapha: It comes from the Greek word pseudo, which means false, and ephigraphein, which means to inscribe or write falsely. This doesn’t mean these are false teachings, only that they are not a part of the Biblical Canon.

Pneumatologist: The Study Of Spiritual Beings Or Phenomena And One Especially Prepared By Training And Experience To Interpret The Theological Doctrine Of The Holy Spirit.

Rhetoric: Rhetoric is the art of persuasion. It is one of the three ancient arts of discourse (trivium) along with grammar and logic/dialectic. As an academic discipline within the humanities, rhetoric aims to study the techniques that speakers or writers use to inform, persuade, and motivate their audiences. Rhetoric also provides heuristics for understanding, discovering, and developing arguments for particular situations.

Soteriology: The study of theology dealing with salvation, especially as effected by Jesus.

Theophany: This term means literally an “appearance of God” and it refers to those instances in the Old Testament when God, initially seeming to be human, appears to people and visits with them. The Bible often describes this human-like figure as the “angel of the Lord,” but sometimes the narrative shifts and it's called the figure “the Lord” (i.e. Yahweh, God Himself).

Vainglory: = Pride
